Tsz Man (Bethany) Fong
Bethany Fong has spent 6+ years in managing programmes and nonprofit startups. She is passionate about education innovations and teacher professional development for better learning outcomes of the marginalised students. In her work in Teach For Hong Kong (TFHK), she led a teaching Fellowship Programme in which over 90 % of school principals agreed that Fellows performed better than entry-level teachers. The Fellowship also incubated an NGO to drive social-emotional learning in schools. Prior to working in TFHK, she managed a newly founded pre-school for girls in a rural village in Ghana. She is currently studying MA in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development at the Institute of Education, UCL.
