The Learning Sciences Exchange Fellowship is a unique opportunity to escape one’s own bubble and expand your horizon. Get inspired by collaborating with journalists, researchers, entrepreneurs, education leaders, and entertainment producers to drive evidence-based change in education.
This unique cross-sectoral and international Learning Sciences Exchange (LSX) fellowship program is designed to foster broader understanding, widespread dissemination, and better application of the insights emerging from the science of learning. The call for applications for the third cohort is now open until February 15th, 2022. Fifteen fellows will be chosen, three from each of the following fields:
- Research
- Journalism
- Entrepreneurship
- Education
- Entertainment
LSX Fellows will work in teams to develop cross-sectoral projects that drive change in schools and other learning settings.
The ideal LSX Fellow candidate will be engaged in tackling education problems, applying the science of learning, or working on communication efforts related to adaptive teaching and individualized learning.
The LSX was launched in 2018 with a first cohort of 12 LSX Fellows featuring researchers, policy influencers, journalists, and entertainment producers from Europe and North America. Fellows worked in three interdisciplinary groups over two years to produce innovative projects including public service announcements, parent-child activity cards and animated messages, and the first in a new series of children’s books.
