Samuel Kembou (PhD)

Program Manager

Samuel Kembou is the Knowledge and Learning Manager at the Jacobs Foundation. He plays a pivotal role in steering the Foundation toward dynamic learning. He supports the Foundation’s efforts and co-designs methodologies for measuring impact, driven by his passion for data and social science. He consistently applies rigorous scientific principles to inform program design and evaluation.

With over a decade of professional experience, Samuel has worked as an Economist in prominent international organizations and served as a full-time Lecturer at the University of Lausanne. He is also a co-principal Investigator in large-scale randomized experiments assessing educational interventions in West Africa.

Samuel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics and an MSc in Game Theory, Applied Econometrics, and Experimental Economics from the University of Lyon, France.
